    ·                                 Jeet Kune DoJeet Kune Do is an omni- directional free combat system created by Bruce Lee in America by blending all kinds of martial arts from many countries, with wing chun and Taoism as the core. It is also a brand new philosophical system. Jeet Kune Do means the method to intercept the coming fist. It belongs to no family or style, almighty and without any rule, also called zhenfan Jeet Kune Do as it is created by Bruce lee, whose original name is lee zhenfan. This martial art emphasizes actual combat, and casts away all complicated formstyles. It resists and fights back while being attacked, sometimes fighting back directly and sparing any resistance to hit first.

Jeet Kune Do is an omni- directional free combat system created by Bruce Lee in America by blending all kinds of martial arts from many countries. Jeet Kune Do means the method to intercept the coming fist. A perfect freedom is advocated, and traditional styles are abandoned to express oneself loyally. “Follow the way in no way and reach the limit with no limit” is the gist and theory of Jeet Kune Do. It also applies western philosophy to martial art, making it a combat guide and methodology.

Top theory and philosophical core of Jeet Kune Do

“Follow the way in no way and reach the limit with no limit” is the top theory and philosophical core of Jeet Kune Do. It prefers a style in no style and a form in no form, against all stereotypes. There is not a bit of fixed tactics and move, say nothing of formstyles. “Down-to-earth “, “no form” and response with instinct are valued in the combat. Bruce lee likes to take water for example, as water is formless. It is in the shape of cup in the cup and shaped like a bottle when in the bottle. It splashes when kicked, surrendering with no hesitation when seized, fleeing when pressed. You can see the softest things least fear attacks. The actual destination is not accordance with old styles, but success in the combat. Combat is just a method to defeat the opposite by responding according to the way the rival comes. You are ignorant about my aim, but my move is the result of your move and my technology is the result of your technology. Free combat has no stereotypes. It goes all by senses, changes and situations.  “Follow the way in no way and reach the limit with no limit”, as the top theory and philosophical core of Jeet Kune Do, fully demonstrates the might of free spirit.

    Jeet Kune Do’s Wushu Theory

Jeet Kune Do regards wushu not simply as an athletic program or self-protective skill, but also a fine art that combines intelligence and skill. Basically speaking, wushu is acquired not only by learning, but by practice and experiencing. It is independent like how flowers grow, whose content is not subjected to outside desire and limitation from feelings. The gist of Chinese wushu is Tao, rule of universe, namely the cooperation and transformation of yin and yang, also what every learner must follow. Jeet Kune Do reminds you that your enemy is a live human, which never stays there still, nor stops for you to watch and work out the solution, nor gives you time to gather strength, to step out or to squat on heels, and the last chance is there for you to stop and think during the transient battle movements. So you must make an attack immediately the enemy takes an act. All the moves must be simple and direct to do what must happen, with no waste of a second. All concepts if any theory or gesture is right must be abandoned in factual battle with strong enemies. Try your best in a random style to win. Bruce lee says, the best battler must be nimble, strong and ignorant or a mad man that kicks, bites at will. He tells his students that, wushu is an art to seek the truth. There is no good or bad along the road to truth. Just use your personal method and simplest move, in shortest time, to express yourself directly.  Famous American wushu magazine Blackick Boxing Belt has got a quote by Bruce lee about stages of wushu practicing: Before I do research in wushu, one fist is just a fist, a kick is a kick. After I do wushu, one fist is not only a fist and a kick is not only a kick. But now I have got some true conception of wushu, a fist is back to no more than a fist again, and a kick is no more than a kick.
